With Sympathy by Emma Hinds

On the eve of her wife’s funeral, 31-year-old Rose is surprised to find a face from her past shows up on her doorstep. Sandy, her best friend from University has come to pay her respects after ten years of estrangement. A car breaks down and a power cut forces the two women to spend the night in one another’s company and to face the traumatic skeletons of their shared past.

Mention of sexual violence and miscarriage are present in the script.
