Join us for an exciting collaboration between The New Works Playhouse and Windswept Workshops to bring you a workshop on Paper Puppets!
Learning Objectives:
- To make a puppet out of five pieces of paper and sellotape
- To give your puppet a personality
- To begin to animate your puppet
What You Will Need:
- 5 pieces of A4 paper
- Sellotape
- Scissors
Erin Gilbey
Erin is a playwright, poet, and puppet maker, with a keen interest in apocalyptic narratives. Her exploration of puppetry began with shadow puppets and moved into 2D cardboard puppets and stringless marionettes, all made from easily sourced materials. She has run accessible puppetry workshops with Harrow Arts Centre, Sense Arts, and Open Theatre.
